Another AZHSFB Star is heading to Montlake. 4-Star Defensive Back Rylon Dillard-Allen has committed to the University of Washington.

Washington was apart of Dillard-Allen’s Top 4 schools, which he announced on June 3rd. The defensive-stud also housed offers from schools like Oregon, Texas A&M, Alabama, USC, and more.

Originally committed to Arizona State, Dillard-Allen decommitted from the school on May 16th. Former UofA coach Jedd Fisch has been heavily involved in Dillard-Allen’s recruiting process, offering the Mountain Pointe-star while he was still with the Wildcats. Fisch offered him again upon joining the Washington staff as Head Coach.

With the verbal commitment from Rylon Dillard-Allen, the trend of AZHSFB recruits choosing to take their talents to the Pacific Northwest continues, as previously mentioned. In just this offseason alone, highly talented players like Dillard-Allen, Marana’s Dezmen Roebuck, and former Corona Del Sol WR Raiden Vines-Bright have all verbally committed to Washington. When you add on former Basha QB Demond Williams II, as well as Apollo’s Adam Mohammed and Michael Watkins, it is clear that a connection to the grand canyon state runs deep through the influence of Coach Jedd Fisch.

Dillard-Allen is poised for a huge senior season with the Pride in 2024. Mountain Pointe is ranked at 8 on the WSSArizona/BJMedia “Way Too Early” Rankings for AZHSFB. The Pride will kickoff the season at home against Valley Vista on Thursday, August 29th.
