Founded in September 2023 by Desert Edge’s Konnor McMaster (@k7arts) and South Mountain’s Julian Villalobos (@julian2x.media), “Westside Sports Arizona” was originally dedicated to covering and highlighting high school athletics in the West Valley. A group composed of high school students and recent graduates, the original 11-member team set out to change the HS media scene.

A year later, WSSArizona continues that original motive. Expanding to a larger team with members all across Arizona, the goal remains the same of changing the way people view high school athletics.
